The ceramic traditions of Asia and the Netherlands are inextricably linked. In honor of this, Romy Kühne designed the 'Blauw Vouw' tableware. A surprising meeting between the Asian folding art of Origami and Dutch Delft blue. The tableware consists of three plates and three bowls. Romy Kühne's work is characterized by geometric shapes and an eye for craftsmanship. “At a time when mass production and 'fast' techniques such as 3D printing predominate in design, I would also like to see the craftsmanship preserved.
